The Web Developer has primary responsibility for a) maintaining the
codebase forOSUSystem web templates, websites and applications,
implementing changes and developing additional functionality and
integrations b) providing technical support and guidance to campus
contacts for web projects and c) assisting withCMSmanagement including
configuration and maintenance, migrations and development/enhancement of
tools and functionality d) ensuring that all development work adheres to
the universitys digital accessibility policy.
The web developer will utilize technical and problem-solving skills to
enhance the functionality of theOSUwebsites, aligning these efforts with
OSUs strategic marketing and communications plan which advances the
universitys strategy, priorities and reputation management.
The individual must demonstrate a strong foundation of web development
skills includingHTML,CSS, Javascript, server-side languages such
asPHPand the ability to work with multiple frameworks and languages
while exhibiting excellent attention to detail and accuracy. The
individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic
thinking in finding new opportunities to showcase Oklahoma State
University.
