Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in the Manufacturing industry. The role is based in Lewisville, Texas, United States and would involve facilitating and managing various tax-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the timely filing of all income, franchise, property, sales, and use tax returns.
• Manage income and sales/use tax audits.
• Review ASC 740 income tax provision.
• Maintain and foster relationships with external service providers.
• Evaluate potential acquisition targets and advise management on tax ramifications of the transaction.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient task management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in accounting functions.
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax for tax management.
• Assist in entity formation and income tax accounting. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage Accounting Functions
• Experience with Auditing
• Knowledge of Compliance procedures and regulations
• Experience with Entity Formation
• Proficiency in Income Tax Accounting
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• detail oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
