Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is looking for a Good Neighbor Program Manager to serve as a creative community builder who will lead our outreach within the community and the operations that entails . In this exciting role, you'll play a key role in integrating Goodwill with in the communities we serve.  You'll lead a team of passionate individuals to connect those in need with community resources to make a real difference.  You'll also help develop and oversee initiatives that address community needs, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support.

  • A day in the life of ( Good Neighbor Program Manager ) :

  • Serve as a spokesperson for Goodwill, presenting and sharing how Go odwill serves its community both directly and through collaborative partnerships

  • Track program performance and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Collaborate with other departments and organizations to create impactful Good Neighbor programs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners that align with our mission, vision and values

  • Manage Good Neighbor communications through in-person, call and email requests to ensure fast response and resolution

  • Direct and oversee team on how to utilize internal and external resources to assist individuals seeking support in health, human services, and government sectors , including MyWayfinder .

  • Develop processes to implement new service and improve current services

  • Create and refine Good Neighbor policies and procedures as program grows

  • Supervise and coach Good Neighbor Coordinators across all locations

    To be successful, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, community development, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in community engagement, social services, or a similar role

  • Knowledge of local community resources, organizations

  • Proficient in using technology and computer applications, including email management and database systems.

  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals in need.
