Direct Hire opportunity with a Tatum client needing a Controller to work onsite Monday - Friday in Mansfield Texas. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial company background working for businesses with a high volume of transactions with a revenue size of $50 - $150 million in revenue size.

responsibilities:
The Controller will report to the company's CFO and manage the Treasury functions (70 bank accounts with daily transactions) in addition to the financial reporting and managing the external audits.
The controller will also manage the AP, AR, Billing credit card processing and oversee payroll.
There are several companies with their own chart of accounts in Quickbooks with high amounts of inter-company transactions and corporate consolidations needing to be done.
Lead the conversion from cash basis accounting to GAAP accounting.
Prepare weekly cash forecasts to review with the CFO
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 5 - 7 years of related experience
Must have 2+ years experience working at the Assistant Controller level or higher
Must have Quickbooks experience , Netsuite Experience is preferred
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be strong in MS Excel
GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Prior experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments with a large number of small companies and high volume of intercompany transactions
