SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Sprull Avenue). We are looking for a General Maintenance Worker (GMW).

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Replace electrical receptacles, wire, bulb, ballast, switches, fixtures, and motors.

  • Use plaster and compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.

  • Repair or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.

  • Paint structures and equipment.

  • Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.

  • Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.

  • Hang doors and install door locks.

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on exhaust fans, emergency lighting, HVAC equipment, water coolers, pumps, and facility operating equipment.

Requirements :

Requirement:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

  • Must have 2 years of recent experience as a General Maintenance worker.

  • Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving history and able to operate a vehicle.

  • Must be able to push, pull and/or lift 70 lbs.

  • Clear and effective written and communication skills.

  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical.
