This is a hands-on management role that requires senior-level abilities in production (writing / shooting / editing) and would be ideal for a senior producer ready to move into a management role.

Work hand in hand with the Marketing Director to strategize station marketing priorities from ideation through execution on air, online and in the community. Ensure production calendar stays on track. Must be able to work well independently, and with a team. Must be a highly motivated, Passionate and creative individual who can write promotional announcements, campaigns, and social media/digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to meet daily, long term and event-driven project goals, individually and in a team environment.

  • Oversee copy editing and revision of some promotional scripts.

  • Collaborate with creative team and cross-functionally with the News department.

  • Manage and log all promos according to station priorities as set up by the Marketing Director and General Manager.

  • Take lead on quarterly station events & partnerships within the community.

    Requirements :

  • 4+ years previous hands-on senior-level creative services experience in a broadcasting, agency, or post-production environment.

  • A reel or collection of work examples – including specific responsibilities you performed for each included -- is required.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Ability to work in a rapid, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work daytime hours regularly and flexible hours including weekends if/when needed.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience required.
