Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled physical labor and
other duties in the maintenance, repair, construction and clean-up of
City streets, and facilities. May be required to work weekends and/or
holidays on occasion.This is a part-time, non-benefited position which
consists of a 29-hour work week maximum.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential functions, as defined under the

- Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties in the
maintenance, construction, and repair of City streets, right
of-ways, and drainage systems.
- Perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled duties in the
maintenance, construction, and repair of City streets,
right-of-ways, drainage systems and other City owned facilities.
- Maintains road right-of-ways clearing debris, cutting weeds, and
cleaning ditches using required hand tools.\'Operates a variety of
trucks and equipment such as power tools such as chain saws,
concrete saws, air hammers, pavement breakers, tampers, and two-way
radio in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Works with assigned crew, removing weeds, clearing debris, clean
ditches and maintaining landscaping, etc.
- Completes required daily logs and reports.
- Picks up trash throughout the City.
- Performs routine maintenance to assigned tools, , equipment, and
buildings.
- May be required to perform daily vehicle inspections and clean and
wash equipment.
- Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external
customers
- Complies with and promotes safe practices in agreement with the
safety rules and procedures set forth in the Loss Control Program.
