General Statement of Duties: The Programmer/Analyst will assist in the
support of the university\'s administrative computing software systems.
The incumbent will provide front line support, and develop and maintain
system integrations, ensure data integrity of information systems, and
utilize, support, and promote the use of the student information system
and related software programs. Responsibilities: (E) = Essential (E)
Maintain the University\'s various database systems including Ellucian
Colleague. (E) Assist in establishing procedures to ensure consistency
across the University\'s databases. (E) Analyze end user needs and
develop systems to improve business processes. (E) Provide in person and
remote support in a timely and effective manner, emphasizing user
satisfaction and problem resolution. (E) Implement new systems and
support modifications to existing systems. (E) Investigate new
technologies for use in improving existing information systems. (E)
Serve as liaison to software vendors to communicate and resolve problems
and remain current with the direction of software systems. (E) Plan,
organize and manage assigned projects. (E) Maintain documentation of
software systems and processes. (E) Prepare and generate reports needed
for campus departments. (E) Serve as a technical resource from
Information Technology to campus departments. (E) Provide programming
support for system or business process development. (E) Assist in user
training for various systems as needed. (E) Demonstrates civility and
professional, customer-service oriented behavior, worthy of emulation by
other staff and students. (E) Responsible for contributing to the WSU
Strategic Plan. (E) Responsible for contributing to Equal

assigned. Required Qualifications: At least 5 years of full-time
experience in programming, systems analysis and report generation. At
least 3 years of full-time experience in ERP systems (ex: Colleague,
Banner, Jenzebar, PeopleSoft). Experience with database management
systems. Experience with SQL, Unidata or other query languages. Must be
able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without
reasonable accommodation. Ability to pass a thorough background check.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ellucian Colleague and related
products. Experience with Business Intelligence solutions such as
Business Objects Web Intelligence. Experience with Perceptive Content or
other content management systems. Experience with software integrations
using methods such as Web API and ETL. Knowledge of higher ed
