Who you are:

We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a full time CAD Operator / Detailer career in Alpena. Candidates with the following skills, knowledge, experience and competency would have an advantage in our hiring process:

  • Experience in the metal manufacturing industry would also be considered.
  • Solid Works is a "must know" platform.
  • Microsoft Word, and Excel experience that includes formulas and formatting.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.

What you will do:

Responsible for engineering production type work. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Create approval drawings for standard products.
  • Process drawings and bills of materials for standard products.
  • Work closely with CAD Designers on projects.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to generate standard parts and drawings.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Aid in the production of necessary drawings to manufacture standard conveying equipment and/or modified equipment in accordance with customer's specific needs. Support Product Managers, CAD Designers, and Manufacturing with problems that relate to design, bills of material, or quality concerns. This would include any engineered product from concept to production implementation and the shipment of such product.
