Education:
High School Diploma
Months/Years of Experience:
Ten (10) years of related experience or a bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain a security clearance. Ability to obtain unescorted access to government contractor sites, special permits, certifications, and government authorizations required by ASRI's contracts with the government.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Emphasis in Human Resource Management preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR certification. Costpoint and ADP experience. Some travel may be required.
Skills Needed:
Expertise with Microsoft office suite. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills to ensure visitors have a good first impression and feel welcome. Attention to detail is a must. Ability to communicate with various people on a professional basis being clear, concise, and effective. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Expertise in labor laws, regulations, and policies to include best industry practices. Ability to use social media and other tools to successfully recruit hard to fill talent. Understand challenges and approach to local market. Working knowledge of the various employee benefits. Expertise with Service Contract Act rules and regulations. Ability to process payroll changes, payroll deductions, calculate benefits cost for SCA employees and reconcile HR related invoices.
Duties:
Manages Human Resources staff and plans, develops, recommends, and implements human resources activities, policies, procedures, and programs for the company, assisting upper management as requested. Manages activities related to staffing, employee education and training, management development, labor relations, affirmative action, benefits administration, and salary administration. Ensure all HR policies are applied consistently.
Leads recruiting/staffing efforts for bid and proposals and current contract personnel requirements with emphasis on novel approaches to recruit talent.
