Volt is immediately hiring for a Dock Associate in Olathe, KS
As a Dock Associate, you will:
- Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to
all internal team member and external customers, by responding
promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout to access products and warehouse
contents in efficient and timely manner.
- Loads and unload freight using suitable material - handling
equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanner to allow
package tracking to ensure on time, error free delivery.
- Maintain accuracy when sorting out packages based on customer and
delivery routes.
- Safeguard cross dock operations and contents by establishing and
monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols.
- Ensures dock areas are clean and free of debris to prevent accidents
and injuries.
- Conducts daily inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable
federal, state, local and internal laws, regulations, and policies.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members throughout dock to
ensure continuously improving best practices and optimization of
freight related arrangements.
- Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance
with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to,
candidates, team members, customers, vendors, and proprietary

This is a Part Time opportunity.
Schedule:
1:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Proven successful experience as a dock/warehouse team member.
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand 8 hours a day
- Steel Toe Shoe required
Pay Rate: 19.00/Hourly
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several
factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
