Position Description
The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization's
inventory, by monitoring and reviewing daily reports and making inventory
adjustments when necessary. The Inventory Control Specialist will use all
available data to identify trends to drive continuous improvement and data
based decisions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Processes inventory transactions
Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of
automatic, recurring delivery.
Partners with finance department to identify write offs, accruals,
spending trends, cost prediction; partners to complete month end
responsibiliti
Identifies, developments and tracks Key Performance Indicators; reports
trends to management. Provides inventory reports to supervisor
Reviews daily records of goods received and shipments made; addresses trends
Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related
database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory
control manager.
Participants in various reoccurring counting practices including semi annual
physical inventory count as well as more frequent cycle counts; audits
counts as needed.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing
department, and outside vendors.
Understanding of inventory control procedures.
Experienced with MRP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle
Experience with Process Improvement
Organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience performing similar work
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
Physical requirements
Indoor factory setting
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.

Compensation DetailsAnnual Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
Additional Compensation The Salary offered will be determined based on the
applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities,
and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this
position. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through the
company bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive a
Relocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with the
Sundyne Relocation Policy.
