Reporting to the Human Resources manager onsite at our Imlay City, Michigan manufacturing facility, local producer of Vlasic, you will support recruitment and retention, staffing and orientation, employee relations, project management, training and assisting in the coordination of human resource planning projects.
How will you make an impact?
Provide daily business HR partnership and consultation for each of our assigned teams.
Provide coaching and advice to our management on ways to administer HR programs and manage employee issues.
Assist functional leadership by implementing approved employee relations' policies.
Lead overall organization of Human Resource programs including EEO, litigation, retention, termination, turnover, and severance issues.
Partner with our business to support departments including Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance and Legal
Partner with local unions to resolve employee grievances
Help implement approved programs and policies to ensure enhancement and acceptance of diversity and proper EEO/AAP legal compliance.
Facilitate recruitment pipeline for current seasonal hourly openings, candidate selection and future talent needs.
Design and implement ad hoc reporting, conducts analysis and draw conclusions that aide in making decisions.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources
Experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development
Experience with Dimensions, Kronos, Workday or other HRIS
