Job Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and timely. Your attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions will be essential in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approval.

• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain vendor files and ensure all necessary documentation is up-to-date.

• Monitor and manage the AP email inbox, responding to vendor inquiries promptly.

• Assist with month-end closing and prepare necessary reports.

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and implement best practices.

• Perform data entry associated with accounts payable.

• Review and verify expense reports and related receipts.

• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with NetSuite is a plus).

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
