PeopleReady Skilled Trades Division is looking for the ideal individual for a Skilled Laborer position in Minneapolis, MI. The individual must be willing to work hard and being able to assist with handling materials, passing materials and tools, retrieving things which will be needed done by the superintendent on site. The individual should have at least 1 year of construction knowledge, be able to do construction clean up and lifting. Apply Today and Start Immediately.

The pay rate for this job is $22 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Assist, support and follow direction of skilled labors.

  • May be required to carry and clean various materials as directed.

  • Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies.

  • Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tool and supplies.

  • Cleans tools, materials and work areas.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle physical workload by lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

  • Ability to bend and/or stoop and to climb a sixfoot ladder.

  • Good verbal and written communication.

  • Active listening
