Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Developer to join our team in the service industry, based in WESTLAKE, Ohio. This role places emphasis on development, with a focus on supporting various projects, code scanning, environment support, package management, and deployments.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to development projects, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide support for code scanning activities to maintain the quality and security of software.
• Offer ActiveBatch support, including plan review and architectural design.
• Assist with pipeline support and auditing to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
• Handle deployment tasks, ensuring all deployments are completed successfully and on schedule.
• Provide environment support, helping to maintain a stable and efficient working environment.
• Oversee package management tasks, ensuring all packages are correctly managed and tracked.
• Utilize various tools and frameworks to support and enhance development processes.
• Use skills in Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and Automated Test Tools to carry out responsibilities effectively.
Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar position
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps is required
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is essential
• Knowledge of SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) is necessary
• Familiarity with Automated Test Tools is expected
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience in a service industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and its principles is desired
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly is necessary
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash is beneficial
• Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP) is preferred
