Job Description\ Overview\ This position is responsible in ensuring that all Driver component pay is calculated and processed, and that Drivers are accurately paid. Responsibilities include closing Driver payroll on a weekly basis; this includes CDL, Non-CDL and Mechanic/Hostler/Sanitor roles in Kronos. This role oversees hours of service DOT compliance, driver dispatch, and board management.

Location:\ 45 Industrial Park Road, Saco, ME,

Working schedule:\ * Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.\ * Salary Overtime eligible.

Responsibilities\ * Verify and execute items such as vacation pay, sick pay, guarantee pay, etc.\ * Perform Driver trip edits in DPM system\ * Monitor People Net log\ * Communicate with Drivers through PeopleNet and tablet systems\ * Individual day off requests\ * Ownership of Guarantee Process\ * Ownership of Local Carrier Log and Submission\ * Support Internal Safety Agenda\ * Provide training support for current employees and new hire onboarding\ * Must be able to flex schedule as needed to include overtime, holidays, weekends, and other shifts\ * GEHSMS team memberships and participation\ * Dispatching and block bid board management (weekends)\ * Run coverage escalation\ * Additional duties as required/developed.

Qualifications\ * High proficiency in various computer programs such as MS Office\ * High level of knowledge regarding Driver pay rules and policies\ * Ability to analyze data, interpret policies and make pay decisions based on analysis outcomes\ * Knowledge and application of business-related math skills\ * General understanding of dispatch operation and process\ * Self-directed; ability to work with minimal supervision\ * Detail oriented and well organized\ * Consistently achieves desired results, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, acts decisively and sets personal high standards\ * Excellent customer service\ * Excellent telephone skills, responsive and professional with the ability to influence and present alternatives\ * Demonstrated ability to effectively work through difficult customer interactions\ * Demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team\ * Effective verbal communication, written communication and listening skills\ * Strong interpersonal skills to positively communicate with and influence all stakeholders internally and externally, and to effectively manage workload and time\ * A commitment to sustainability and proven ability to implement EHS programs\ * A high level of computer literacy, data management, and analytics skills\ * Excellent organizational and communication skills\ * Data trend analysis\ * Ability to work without supervision\ * Must be able to work safely

Preferred\ * Safety experience preferred\ * Work as a back-up to Bid Board admin development and execution of the traffic center schedules\ * Provide on-site support for employee pay question and concerns\ * Associates Degree or 3-5 years of transportation experience.
