The Investment Banking Analyst is an integral part of the transaction team. The Analyst will participate in the preparation of financial analyses, conduct due diligence, develop marketing materials, and participate in the execution of a wide variety of transactions. The Analyst will also play an integral role in client interaction, as well as participation in marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial information

· Coordinate and perform business due diligence

· Prepare and manage virtual data rooms

· Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, pitch books and other presentations as needed

· Create quantitative analyses, financial models, company valuation analyses, etc.

· Perform extensive and in-depth industry research to support client and marketing engagements

· Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors

· All other duties assigned

Requirements

· 1-3 years of professional work experience preferably within Investment Banking or other financial vertical

· Bachelor’s Degree within Business, Finance, Accounting or STEM discipline

· Mergers & Acquisitions experience highly preferred

· Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to appreciate the big picture

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects / competing priorities in parallel

· The ability to focus on best practices in terms of process, communication, and financial analysis

· Experience with financial modeling

· Dynamic, highly motivated individual with a strong work-ethic

· Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

· Ability to conduct thorough, independent quantitative and qualitative research

· FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses a big plus or (required within 5 months of hire)

· Ability to travel as needed
