Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Junior to Mid-Level Front End Developer with experience to join our Commercial Cloud Services Team. Responsibilities include:

  • Implement front end solutions using modern web technologies such as frameworks/libraries like Angular and React.js.

  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and maintain code quality standards.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in front end development, security, and cloud technologies.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly designs into functional web applications.

  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front end components with cloud platforms and Kubernetes.

  • Assist in resolving issues with the backend services.

  • Follow DevSecOps monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

  • 5+ years of experience as a developer.

  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

  • Proficiency in Angular and ideally React.js.

  • Experience with TypeScript language.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Kubernetes experience is a plus.

  • Security+ certification preferred; willingness to obtain Security+ certification required.

  • Familiarity with backend development concepts (e.g., RESTful APIs, server-side scripting); experience with GoLang is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Linux experience is required.
