Job Opening: Shipping Position

Due to an increase in business, this company is in search of an experienced Shipping Clerk to come and work at a manufacturing company in Spokane Valley WA! Compensation for the Shipping Position

• $17.50 -- $19 Per Hour DOE
• Schedule is Monday -- Friday, 6 am -- 2:30 pm

Responsibilities of the Shipping Position

• Print pick tickets for parts to be distributed within the assembly area and shipped to customers
• Identify parts for delivery, utilizing a cart you will find the part(s) and place the pick ticket in the completed/filled bin
• Utilize a computer and printer to print the invoice and package the parts for shipping
• Finish pick tickets completely before starting another pick ticket
• Report any questions or help needed to shipping lead and supervisor
• Follow very specific SOP for this is a LEAN company
• Return carts, printers, and supplies to specified locations each and every time used
• Assist in assembly and or mold op, training will be provided
• Use proper lifting techniques and paying attention to your surroundings is imperative for safety

• Assist in other departments as needed

   

Requirements for the Shipping Position

• At least 1 year of shipping experience required
• International shipping experience (Highly Preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Team player
• High attention to Detail
• Manual dexterity

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand entire shift, along with a lot of walking, bending, and reaching
