GENERAL FUNCTION

The Finance Sr Manager, Sunglass Hut is responsible for planning and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and creating presentations for Senior Management. This position will partner with brand leadership to provide insightful analysis to grow business opportunities. The Sr Manager provides management with business and project impacts to the P&L. This position is expected to drive value added business analysis, metrics, dashboard reporting and other critical decision support analysis to generate insights and transparency around all areas of the business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, create and maintain key decision support review tools, including financial dashboards, data populations, and detailed analytical excel-based reporting.

  • Assist in the annual planning process by providing detailed analysis around key business initiatives and strategies.

  • Develop and drive completion of reporting for monthly segment operating reviews, monthly business review (MBR) and other key deliverables.

  • Partner with departmental leaders to create robust and detailed expense and FTE reporting, tracking tools and dashboards.

  • Prepare the monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements and comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.

  • Report monthly results to management with variance explanations versus plan, forecast and prior year through the use of SAP, Essbase and Business Objects.

  • Collaborate with the Accounting to prepare month end close journal entries for expense accrual.

  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounting and cost center owners to ensure appropriate expenses are paid and entered in planned accounts/ cost centers.

  • Provide insight to the organization by researching, analyzing, communicating and recommending strategies for increased efficiency or streamlining processes.

  • Develop adhoc analysis as required by management

  • Leads and participates in special projects in partnership with cross functional teams including Business Development, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing and Real Estate.

  • Leads by example through Sunglass Hut’s Key Cultural Indicators: Fun, Shared Wins, Relationships, Inclusion and Drive

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • S. in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics

  • 7+ years financial planning and analysis and/or commercial finance experience

  • Advanced financial modeling experience

  • Expert level knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools

  • Intermediate level knowledge in BusinessObjects and/or Tableau

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Retail industry experience

  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Essbase

  • MBA preferred

​Pay Range: 117,349.00 - 169,688.33

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
