JOB REQUIREMENTS: The UPS and Inventory Assistant is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, entering data into the Company\'s ERP system, and performing routine cycle counts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive incoming UPS shipments. Unpack incoming packages and verify contents are accurate to information on bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, or other records. Route product to appropriate work areas. Record shortages. Reject damaged goods. Enter data into Company\'s ERP system. Perform accurate cycle counting. Ensure proper identification of material part numbers and maintain labels for KanBan cards. Assign locations for parts based on utilization and size to allow safe and efficient access. Operate man lift truck, hand truck, or forklift to move, convey, or hoist shipments. Cross train with Parts Shipping Clerk to support with picking, packing, and processing part shipments. Other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with an ERP system, such as CSI, Infor, or Styeline, preferred. Proficient computer skills. High attention to detail. Accurate counting skills. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand and reach with hands and arms for 8 hours; frequently required to walk; and regularly required to use hands and fingers for handling material, counting parts, or data entry. The employee will be required to handle and lift packages and parts, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
