Description We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our data management systems. Your core responsibilities will encompass entering various types of data into our systems with precision and timeliness. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Input timesheets into the database and ensure all entries are accurate.
• Verify and correct any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of data.
• Uphold the confidentiality and security of all data entered.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Utilize software tools and resources effectively to enhance productivity.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
• Review timesheets and ensure they are correctly entered into the system.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Provide exceptional customer service while handling queries related to data entry. Requirements • Possess a minimum of one year experience in a data entry role
• Proficient in data entry and numeric data entry
• Ability to perform high-volume data entry with accuracy
• Typing speed exceeding 60 words per minute
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic office skills including filing, sorting, and handling incoming calls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to review timesheets for accuracy and completeness
• Demonstrable ability to operate computer data entry programs and software
• Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
