Description

As a Payroll Specialist at ProAmpac, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are compensated accurately and on time. You will manage payroll processes, maintain records, and provide exceptional support to our team members. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, contributing to our overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for multiple locations and entities.

  • Maintain and update payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Review tax information and manage compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing exceptional customer service.

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

  • Stay current on payroll systems, practices, and legislative changes.
