Job Duties/Description:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabamaseeks aSeniorApplication Systems Analyst/ProgrammerinBirmingham, Alabamaresponsiblefordeveloping and maintaining DrugLookUp API and sales related applications. Participate in migrating DrugLookUp API application from Primes SOAP WS in order to use Primes FHIR Rest services. Create, design, and modify Database objects. Develop Java-8/11 programs and DrugLookUp Restful APIs in order to integrate with Primes FHIR Data. Utilize sonatype to manage and monitor software dependencies for security vulnerabilities. Perform regular updates and patch dependencies to mitigate potential security risks for all sales related applications. Utilize software such as Bit Bucket for version control, Maven for project building, Mockito/Junit for testing, and Jenkins for continuous integration. Configure and deploy application on Jboss and/or Liferay Tomcat servers in order to ensure proper setup and performance optimization.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a programming or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field and at least three (3) years of experience in Information Technology or a related occupation. This position also requires demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following: HTML; CSS3; JavaScript; MySQL; Junit; Jenkins; ReactJs; Java-8/11; SonarQube; Jboss/Tomcat; Bootstrap; Intellij IDE; Maven; Restful API; Spring; SpringBoot; IBMDB2; GitHub; and JIRA.
