Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 11 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Finance, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • 3 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex partnerships.

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.

  • Experience managing strategy projects (e.g., strategic plan, agreement pursuit) from inception to deployment.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, to solve complex problems, and to scale effectively across a large and highly distributed organization.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Partnership Solutions team is within Global Partnerships that leads partnerships and commercial growth opportunities with Google's strategic and complex partners. Our mission is to bring together the best of Google, leveraging a holistic vantage point, to build sustainable, transformational partnerships that deliver mutual economic and strategic value and position Google as a trusted leader across markets and industries

As Cross-Google Partner Manager, you will shape how Google partners with our strategic financial services relationships, from banks to fintech to payments companies. With your unique purview across all Google/Alphabet products and services, you'll design a long-term strategy to drive business growth and product priorities for Google while solving for partners' greatest business challenges. You'll work cross-functionally internally and externally to provide valued counsel to senior executives and lead new business opportunities/partnership workstreams.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead the cross-Google partnerships with several Financial Services Priority Partners and agreement pursuits, including developing/managing relationships with key stakeholders at the partners (up to the CEO) as well as internally.

  • Develop a clear strategy to align Google against the partners’ most pressing strategic objectives and to drive commercial growth and product priorities for Google.

  • Lead cross-product area executive engagement, including preparing briefings for Google Executives, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment and activation across Google.

  • Facilitate and coordinate communities of sales and business development teams working with partners, creating internal transparency, cohesion, and clear objectives. Be the internal point of contact for all Google teams engaging with the partner.

  • Own cross-Google operations for your book of business (e.g., Priority Partners and Incubation Partners), including OKR reporting, briefing documents, leadership updates, etc.
