Full Time Position

HOURS: 8 hour shift, week days, weekends, on-call, emergency response

WAGE: $16/hr DOE OVERVIEW: Performs an array of maintenance duties at the hotel. Duties include preventative maintenance to be done monthly, fix daily maintenance issues, grounds keeping, troubleshooting, guest and employee interaction, great customer service, maintain and service pool, work on electrical, carpentry, plumbing and all other day to day maintenance issues. Must assist in other departments or with other job duties as requested or necessary.

DUTIES:

  • Must have maintenance experience

  • Arrives to work on time and in proper uniform.

  • Responsible for a variety of general maintenance and repair & other improvements to buildings, equipment and facilities.

  • Responds to calls and work orders from Hotel Management, Housekeeping and other departments for various services.

  • Repairs minor plumbing issues & stoppages, toilets, faucets, mixers, drinking fountains, etc.

  • May replace damage ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and walls.

  • May install window shades, hang drapes, venetian blinds, curtain rods, install window glass and repair door hardware.

  • Adheres to all company policies and regulations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of general property maintenance

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Self motivated

  • Valid driver's license, insurable

  • CPO Certification Ideal

  • May be required to operate company work vehicle on and around property.

  • Previous experience required in maintenance and general repair work.

  • Must be courteous and friendly in dealing with customers and co-workers.

  • Broad knowledge of trade skills required including carpentry and plumbing.

  • Must have ability to work with hands, using hand tools and power tools.
