Job Opening: Student Development Specialist II - FYE/TYE/FIG

Learning Communities Support (FIGs/TrIGs): Assists with coordination of academic programs, courses, and services for new students on campus. This includes primary support for the First-Year Interest Group program and secondary support for Transfer-Year Interest Groups as needed. Coordinate peer mentor recruitment.First-Year Connections assistance: Assist with coordination of FYC across campus. Help organize information and resources. Help organize professional development for facilitators as needed.ALDPES First-year honors society: Provides administrative oversight for first-year honors societies. Including serving as staff advisor for the groups, participating in events and ceremonies, promotion of organizations, etc.Lead Learning Communities Mentor Course: Participates as part of the Teaching Team for the UGS 104(T) course. Assists with coordination and training of peer mentor programs.Work as part of the FYE team, collaborating and assisting on projects as needed: Represent FYE team at various events and meetings as needed.
