Summary: Responsible for supporting the accuracy of the Parts Inventory which includes shipping, receiving and cycle counts. In addition, help service the Maintenance Department when parts are needed. Receive, identify, verify, and post into the inventory system. Verifies delivery receipts against purchase orders and place items on the rack / shelving according to the location entered into the system. Issue materials, supplies, parts and / or possibly equipment to the Maintenance Associates. Enter inventory data into computer as needed; maintains inventory control and parts distribution. Conducts cycle counts as required. Must show urgency during a production break-down to help find the parts needed for the maintenance department.

Qualifications: Must be able to work this shift Sunday (8:30am 7:00pm) M-W (2:00pm -12:30pm). Must be aware of and perform all duties in compliance with existing Company policies and procedures. Previous working in a Parts/inventory department, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience using an inventory management system. Must be able to work weekends when required by Supervisor. Must have a Valid NYS drivers license; in order to commute between facilities. Previous Forklift experience. Basic Math experience. Able to read, understand and speak English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
