We are seeking a talented Contract Systems Engineer to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in systems engineering and a proven record of supporting complex IT environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable IT systems and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, architect solutions, and deploy new technologies.

• Manage and monitor server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, networks, and applications.

• Implement best practices for system configuration, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
