Job Opening: Mechanical Inspector

Davis Aircraft, a privately held Aerospace & Defense Manufacturer located in Bohemia. NY. Job Summary: Mechanical Inspector Candidates must be experienced ( 2 years min) with mechanical measurement instruments, micrometers, calipers, height gages, thread gages, optical comparator. Individuals will be required to conduct hardness testing, tensile and proof load testing and open to additional training. Must be capable of using Excel and Outlook programs. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. on occasion. US Government contracts/ITAR requirements apply limits this position to US Person requirements and must be capable to provide valid documentation to be hired for this position.
