Position Description: Caliola is seeking an energetic Cybersecurity and IT
Support Administrator with the ability to obtain and maintain a security
clearance to enhance and maintain our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity
hygiene, and Agile software development environment. Support will be
provided across a wide variety of tasks at all levels of complexity - from
advanced engineering of future infrastructures to deploying server software to
providing low-level user account administrations and user support. This
position will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Company's IT
systems, overseeing all IT infrastructure upgrades, maintaining the IT
baseline, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-171 & 800-53 and DoD CMMC
Level 2 certification requirements, and providing day-to-day IT support for
users. This position will also serve as our Information Systems Security
Officer (ISSO) ensuring systems are maintained in accordance with
established security documentation for system hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
Manage/maintain a combination of cloud (e.g., Microsoft Commercial
and Government Cloud Computing High (GCCH) environments), &
on-premise systems (Windows Server, Ubuntu, RHEL and Network Attached
Storage backups), services, and related licenses.
Perform day-to-day system administration functions including but not
limited to installing server software, applications, upgrades, and
maintenance patches, & configuring & maintain network switches & firewalls.
Support systemwide HW and SW acquisition, configuration, & security
controls.
Assist users with hardware issues related to desktop computers,
printers, scanners, or handheld devices.
Create IT tickets using ticket-tracking software & update the status of
each ticket as they successfully assist each user with their issues.
Prepare, maintain, and ensure compliance to meet DoD CMMC Level II &
other certification requirements, regulations, IT/IS security protocols
and Identity Access Management (IAM).
Maintain a strong but balanced approach to security, implementing best
practices and protocols to safeguard enterprise systems and data against
potential threats. Stay abreast of the latest security trends and technologies
to proactively address vulnerabilities.
Independently determine and develop approaches to information assurance
solutions.
Perform system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File
Transfers, hardware/software configuration management, system
patching/updating, data integrity containments, and investigations
related security violations/incidents.
Implementation and validation of security relevant controls on computing
systems and perform certification tests & periodic inspections of
Information Systems Documentation
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system
configurations, organization policies and procedures, POAMs, and
troubleshooting guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure
continuity in system operations.
Develop system documentation for information system authorization,
security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and
standalone classified systems.
Prepare and implement recommendations including any IT and cybersecurity
roadmap as approved by the IT Configuration Control Board (CCB).
Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes
and revisions.
Doc ment & maintain corporate network deployment and topology.
Create training materials/references pertaining to computer
troubleshooting & usage.
Required:
Obtaining and maintaining a security clearance & must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information.
3+ years of experience as an IT, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Security
Engineer, & end user support
2+ years of experience as an IT administrator in Microsoft Azure and/or
Linux & Windows Servers.
Experience with CMMC Level II / NIST SP 800-171, 800-53/RMF, &
other compliance frameworks
High proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, including
management of virtual machines, server deployments, & configuration of
Intune policies.
Experience with audit & remediation efforts for systems and networking
equipment.
Experience in working with shell scripting (Bash or PowerShell),
including automation scripting.
Understanding of roll-based access controls (RBAC) in a Microsoft
Cloud environment.
Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10 / 11 computing systems and security
controls.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
under minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration & enjoy user
interaction & build rapport with end users.
Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring
minimal supervision with an ability to drive innovation and advancement within
the organization by leveraging advanced industry knowledge to enhance system
