| JOB DESCRIPTION: |

| Assist with over-all management of districts transportation |
| department. |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| RESPONSIBILITIES: |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| -Supervise and evaluate transportation employee group |
| |
| -Assist with preparation and updates of bus routes and schedules |
| -Coordinate transportation for extracurricular activities |
| -Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed |
| -Implement districts student discipline policies and communicate to |
| students expected behavior when using district transportation |
| -Enforce safety standards |
| -Assist with development of driver training program |
| -Comply with applicable personnel policies |
| -Assist with preparation of data necessary to process transportation |
| payroll |
| -Review student behavior reports and conduct conferences with |
| parents, students, and drivers on disciplinary issues |
| -Assist with securing substitute drivers |
| -Advise administration about inclement weather conditions that may |
| result in closing of schools |
| -Assist with gathering information in investigations of accidents |
| |
| -Manage bus routing system and software. |

| EXPERIENCE: |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Supervisory experience: 3-5 years |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| QUALIFICATIONS: |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
| -Master's degree preferred |
| |
| - Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and |
| interpersonal skills |
| -Ability to direct and manage operations of a large fleet of |
| vehicles |
| -Knowledge of energy management and vehicle repair and maintenance |
| -Ability to manage budget and personnel |
| -Ability to implement policy and procedures |
| -Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills |
| -Possess commercial drivers license (CDL) with appropriate |
| endorsement to operate a school bus or ability to acquire within six |
| (6) months of employment |
