Summary:The Business Banking Credit Specialist oversees local market Business Banking portfolio risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit-worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors maturing loans and upcoming renewals with support from Monitoring Analyst Team.

  • Coordinates timely collections of past-due loans with Business Banking Central Collections Group (CACS).

  • Coordinates various credit administrative activities and reporting with the Business Loan Center, Central Collections, Special Assets, Business Banking RCO, Credit Administration and local market senior management.

  • Maintains and manages small portfolio of large dollar or complex credit accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of Business Banking or lending experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics

  • Prior knowledge of SBA loans

  • Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.

  • Ability to multi-task
