Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties related to accounts receivable and credit control, making use of skills such as proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Handle accounts receivable duties, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and receipt of payments
• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain and update customer records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation
• Perform billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent out promptly and accurately
• Monitor cash activity and manage cash collections to maintain healthy cash flow
• Conduct collections activities as needed, following up on overdue accounts and resolving any issues
• Regularly review customer credit applications and adjust credit limits as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and activities
• Work closely with other team members to ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded
• Regularly communicate with customers to address any queries or issues related to their accounts.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Proven ability to manage Cash Activity
• Experience with Cash Collections
• Prior experience in Collections within a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations.
