*SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION*
Receive and verify incoming material using computerized ERP software.
Perform all necessary transactions and process all paperwork to properly
account for parts and supplies delivered. Make arrangements for
requisitioning departments to receive non-inventoried items. Make sure
all deliveries are made to the proper person/department. Make all
deliveries based on first-in first-out (FIFO). Issue material to persons
requesting specific materials with a valid requisition. Replenish
inventory locations with incoming material. Operate a forklift to unload
and store materials in designated areas in the plant. Must be thoroughly
familiar with location of all warehouse items. Must be able to use and
understand computer programs used to identify and issue stock material.
Bill of Material and packing slips to insure correct items and quantity
are delivered. Issue B/M from receiving. File as needed. Keep work area
clean and orderly. Know safety rules that apply to the safety of others
and personal safety. Perform other work as instructed by supervisor.
Participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Interact with and be accountable to supervisors regarding safe work
behaviors and developing safety knowledge and job skills. Aid in
accident investigations as needed. Set an example for safe behavior and
show commitment to safety.
