Description
We are looking for a diligent Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Monterey, California. The successful candidate will manage all financial aspects of company. This role requires excellent accounting skills and the ability to work independently, having constant interaction with our staff at various sites.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices, providing financial and accounting support for all construction projects
• Reconciling accounts and providing management with financial data for meetings and decision-making purposes
• Providing administrative assistance in the creation of subcontractor contracts, working closely with Construction Management for monthly invoice creation
• Supporting the General Contracting division by providing accounting services and assisting in managing subcontractor commitments, payments, and lien services
• Facilitating, maintaining, and enforcing cost control measures, ensuring bills are created accurately and timely
• Coordinating and tracking lien releases with multiple sub-contractors on various jobs
• Processing subcontractor invoices and facilitating payments in a timely manner
• Summarizing current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents
• Reconciling financial discrepancies.

Requirements
Skills:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Familiarity with accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of auditing procedures
• Experience with billing functions.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Knowledge of ERP Solutions
• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC)
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Billing Functions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Desired not required)
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of all financial regulations and procedures.
