Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Generative AI Market Analyst to join our dynamic Market Intelligence team (MI). This role will be responsible to generate insightful reports and recommendations by conducting market research to understand the advancement of AI and Generative AI technologies. Examples of market research relevant for the role are customer adoption insights, industry trends, customer surveys, investment reports, policy and regulations, analyst perception, and rankings. The successful candidate will play a crucial role supporting strategic goals by facilitating customer-obsessed and data-driven insights as well as recommendations to the decision-making processes.

Key job responsibilities

• Market Research and Analysis: Gather, synthesize, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data including industry reports, news articles, social media, public policy, financial statements, and competitor information. Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and identify patterns to understand the market landscape, competitor strategies, and potential threats or opportunities.

• Insight Generation and Reporting: Produce comprehensive intelligence reports, presentations, and executive summaries for specific business opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and tailor reports to meet specific needs. Create compelling narratives and actionable insights from complex data sets.

• Data Visualization and Storytelling: Create visually appealing, clear, and informative data visualizations, info-graphics, and interactive dashboards to present complex data in an intuitive way. Use storytelling to effectively and concisely communicate complex insights derived from data.

• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in Generative AI technologies and their applications in market research and analysis. Identify opportunities for process optimization and proactively recommend improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as business analytics, data science, market research, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience across business analytics, market research, AI/Generative AI or related disciplines.

  • Proven knowledge of Generative AI market.

  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and techniques with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as derive insights from complex data sets.

  • Strong communication skills to establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or related in a relevant field such as business analytics, data science, market research, or a related discipline.

  • AI or Generative AI industry certifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
