Experience in consumer lending, credit review, and consumer products is desired.

In this role, you will build and grow successful Member relationships by sourcing, processing, and delivering additional credit union products and services while ensuring an exceptional service experience. You'll assist and advise Members in selecting appropriate credit union products by utilizing consultative skills and proven sales techniques. You’ll facilitate a smooth application and fulfillment experience, handling inbound and outbound applications over the phone, supporting third party origination channels, and reviewing web applications. The successful Partner will meet or exceed all funding goals, minimize errors, and process all requests while consistently adhering to all Financial Partners policies.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensures exceptional Member experience by fostering strong rapport, proactively recommending beneficial products and services, exercising sound judgment, and prioritizing the Member's and credit union's best interests.

  • Consistently meet or exceed goals for product origination, core volume and cross-sell.

  • Maintain a minimal error rate for monthly Membership openings and funded loans, consistently meeting deadlines, funding targets, and efficiency benchmarks.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of deposit and consumer lending products, services, and processes, including ancillary offerings.

  • Review and comprehend credit reports, loan structures, and underwriting decisions effectively.

  • Adhere to relevant procedures and exercise sound judgment to mitigate the credit union's risk.

  • Utilize all referral sources, including inbound and outbound calls, and prioritize and follow up on pending tasks and sales opportunities.

  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

  • Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure adherence to the values and principles of our organization. Each team Member is accountable for seeking guidance, asking questions, and reporting concerns or breaches of company policies or ethical norms.

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable lending laws and regulations.

Education/Experience:

  • A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year University/College is a plus.

  • Minimum of two years of consumer lending sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.

  • Six months or more credit union experience desired.

  • Excellent consultative sales skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information.

  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and lending origination systems.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task.

  • A passion for people and service and a dedication to building relationships with Members.

  • Ability to work with Members and staff tactfully and professionally, both in person and on the phone.

  • Effective listening skills

  • Must be bondable.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
