As Cyber Security Engineer you will:
Looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a
Cyber Security Engineer position supporting Continuous Monitoring and
maintenance of Authority to Operate on customer.
The ideal candidate will have a cyber experience across the full spectrum of
cyber operations from a mission execution perspective, to include
vulnerability management, compliance management, database, and
enterprise information security infrastructure.
Review and adjudicate Tenable/Nessus Findings.
Vulnerability and compliance scanning and mitigation.
STIG manual hardening checks.
Plan of action and milestones (POAM) work off.
Assessment and Authorization Support (A&A).
Cybersecurity engineering in support of system development.
This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: Active Secret
Required Experience:
Demonstrated experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus for
vulnerability and compliance assessment.
Hands on experience in manual hardening and system compliance.
An advanced degree in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience.
Familiar with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) as described in NIST
Special Publication 800-37, NIST Special Publication 800-53 and NIST Special
Publication 800-171.
Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II
(Security+ or equivalent) Compliant Certification.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Understanding of DoD RMF Certification and Accreditation Processes,
assessing and validating compliance with IA controls and developing and
maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.
Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT-III (CISSP or
equivalent) Compliant Certification.
Self-Starter requiring limited direction and supervision.
Pay Rate: $90.00 - $97.00 per hour

factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
