Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Planners / Estimators for a project located in Bremerton, WA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $29-$34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Review Automated Work Request (AWRs)
Write Specifications & Changes for Work Items
Develop Detailed Accurate Labor & Material Estimates
Solicits & Evaluates Subcontractor Price Quotes
Shop Work & Repairs
Requirements:
BA/BS in a Related Field or AA/AS Plus 2 Years Directly Related Experience or 6 Years Experience
Must be Familiar with Navy Ship Repair
Knowledge of Shipboard Nomenclature
Advanced Excel Proficiency
Experience/Knowledge of Shipboard Systems, Equipment, Spaces, Configuration, Labor & Material Cost
Working Knowledge of Navy Maintenance Data Base NMD Planning and Execution
NMD Program Experience (Naval Maintenance Database)
A trades background or deck plate experience
Preferred:
- Understanding of reading/comprehending drawings, blueprints and writing 4E
