Columbia Threadneedle Investments seeks an Associate Investment Research Analyst - Structured Products in Minneapolis, MN to gather, manipulate, and store large amounts of data for analysis of investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Automate tasks to improve efficiency of investment process, combine quantitative and qualitative research to inform investment views, and develop investment skills and abilities for primary research responsibility of one or more Structured Product sectors. Propose and contribute to research projects as well as team discussions focused on investment opportunities and performance. Remote work permitted 2 days per week. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, or related field, plus 2 years of experience within the mortgage origination and servicing market, including experience in statistical analysis of mortgage performance and valuation of securitized mortgage products. 2 years of experience working with Excel, VBA, Python, R, querying data from database systems using SQL, and Bloomberg platform.
