This is a job for a Production Process Manager position with a company located in Louisville, MS.   Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced production manager to oversee all assembly processes at Taylor Machine Works. The Production Process Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our assembly lines, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities: Provide oversight and leadership for all assembly processes, ensuring production output meets quality and efficiency standards. Coordinate with other Production Process Managers, including Welding and Parts Making, in separate areas of manufacturing processes to optimize overall production efficiency. Develop and maintain daily production schedules, forecasts, and inventory plans. Manage a team of Supervisors who oversee individual assembly lines, providing guidance and support as needed. Manage a team of complementary manufacturing personnel including engineers and supply chain planning to ensure productivity goals are met. Coordinate with quality control to maintain measures which ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the supply chain team to coordinate material procurement and inventory management. Utilize ERP systems and software tools for data management, reporting, and de cision-making while suggesting improvements when necessary. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production rates, on-time delivery, efficiency, and cost control. Report weekly performance to company executive management.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e. Manufacturing, Industrial, or Industrial Technology) or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in large assembly production processes. Experience in managing people, with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and software, as well as advanced skills in data management and spreadsheets. Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent experience with lean manufacturing methodologies. Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
