Description

The Computer User Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support in support of a portfolio of systems supporting the logistics domain. The User Support Specialist will respond to trouble tickets, provide recommendations, troubleshooting issues and provide support as needed to resolve user issues or to escalate the trouble ticket for resolution by a technical subject matter expert.

Requirements

Candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a related information technology environment providing support to users. Ideally the candidate will have experience supporting the Department of Navy logistics and supply chain business systems or similar custom legacy portfolios. Active secret security clearance is required.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve user issues using desk guides and frequently asked questions

· Exceptional customer service mannerism and attitude

· Experience with trouble ticketing systems

· Ability to validate configurations and user setups

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate will a wide range of users with varying degree of IT system knowledge and experience

· Ability to manage multiple trouble tickets and prioritize resolution activities

· Strong team player with ability to work with project technical resources

· Experience with JIRA or other documentation tools

· Background with agile development methodologies

· Must have or be able to achieve Cyber Security Workforce Certification, IAT-II.
