Broadwell Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities include - Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards - Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms and lobbies - Organize repair projects in a manner that doesn't disturb guests - Act fast to resolve emergencies such as power outages - Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy - Respond and attend to guest repair requests - Welcome and acknowledge all guests as per company standards and communicate with guests to help meet their needs - Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems - Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgement - Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information - Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property - Perform duties in guest rooms and common areas including plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware, electrical equipment and general housekeeping - Operate as an independent mechanic, analyze problems and identify solutions - Be available for ant emergency and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates as well as the property - Monitor fire alarm/Life Safety system - Read and understand blue prints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown - Maintain inventory and requisition parts - Ensure clean and professional appearance - Protect company assets - Train and instruct staff

Education - High School Diploma/GED

Work hours - Varies

Wage - $15 - $20
