Overview

Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc.

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing various cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls • Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones • Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed • Remove debris and snow from sidewalks • Empty trash and recycling bins • Clean, sanitize and maintain restrooms • Wash and clean windows and mirrors • Dust furniture and fixtures • Vacuuming and shampooing carpeting and rugs • Using heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and commercial vacuums • Sweep, vacuum, wax, and mop the floor • Wash windows, inside and outside • Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions • Make sure the establishment is clean and meets all safety requirements

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally: kneeling, stooping, bending, stretching, and leaning. • Frequently: hearing/listening, clear speech, reaching, touching, typing. • Prompt and regular attendance at work. • Ability to perform visual inspections.

Working Environment:

Works outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions, blood/body fluids, fumes/odors, extended days, and temperature changes. Frequently works with others, face-to-face contact, exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment.
