At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring AI Advisors to guide our efforts and advise the largest and most complex companies on how they can transform the way they leverage Generative AI and Data to deliver business value. AWS Generative AI Advisors leverage their personal experiences using AI, combine them with the experiences of other customers, and help large companies understand how they can benefit from the cloud.

Ideal candidates are well versed in the challenges large companies face across their people, process, and technology when implementing AI, Generative AI and Data Strategies. This includes leadership, application & model development, application & model operations, security, business case development, technology budgeting, etc. They use this knowledge to help customers identify and overcome the same challenges, author best practices and create and deliver presentations to executive audiences, develop and facilitate executive community building, help AWS product teams and partners understand how enterprise executives make decisions, and develop/improve mechanisms to help customers gain value from the use of AI and Generative AI.

Key job responsibilities

Generative AI advisors (advisors) are the voice of AWS to the leaders in AI of enterprise customers and prospects, and, conversely, the voice of large enterprises back to AWS. This is a uniquely Amazonian offering; customer-obsessed and entirely oriented toward helping our customers be more successful. We earn trust and credibility with leaders of enterprise customers through our experience working at the enterprise level and our firsthand experience with the challenges of AI adoption.

We’ve developed a number of mechanisms through which we deliver our expertise. We meet with both technology and non-technology customer executives at critical stages of their AI journey to help them overcome impediments such as cultural change, organizational structure, governance models, and investment strategies. We write articles, blog posts, and other content to help our customers be more successful and to advance AWS’s position as a thought leader in AI. We track the pulse of the AI and Generative AI community and provide feedback to AWS on customer needs and effective enterprise positioning, and work with the AWS sales and marketing employees to improve their ability to communicate with enterprise executives. We travel over 25% of the time to meet with customers.
