The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing the overall
stability and functionality of the full range of Keycentrix software
products. The Analyst should be confident in the measures taken to test
the product and be satisfied with the outcome before releasing to
production. The end goal is to provide a stable, safe,
regulatory-compliant, working product that the end-user enjoys and feels
confident using and that stands up to the quality assurance stamp of
approval.
The analyst will become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on all Keycentrix
software products.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in engineering team meetings to provide input into
requirements and functional design
- Perform risk analyses to understand areas of greatest risk for
failure.
- Develop test cases and effectively execute test cases for
features/defects in a release. Plan regression tests.
- Adhere to quality standards when testing and analyzing
- Recognize and notify Team of potential issues or oversights with
functional or technical behavior
- Troubleshoot escalated production issues
- Record test case executions including recordings for automation
purposes
- Participate in peer review of test case writing and test case
performance as a reviewer and a reviewee
- Attend and participate in group meetings regarding daily tasks,
improvement ideas, training sessions
- Document testing outcomes, failure reasons, discussions, and
decisions made for historical tracking purposes
- Keep time tracking accurate and up to date
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, demonstrate ethical behavior, be
respectful, be prompt to work and meetings, deliver tasks in a
timely manner
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with software testing from the UI and the database
- Analytic and cognitive abilities
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, critical eye
- Creatively find solutions to a problem
- Ability to work as part of a team but also individually
- Take direction but can also be proactive and take logical next steps
based on prior situations and standard operating procedure
- Handles and independently solves broad and sometimes complex issues
- Ability to review requirement documents and translate to test cases
- Pharmacy experience preferred
- IT / networking skills preferred
Education or Certifications:
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related area preferred,
but not required.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively
- High level of alertness, concentration, accuracy, and
time-management
- Able to maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods
