Responsibilities
In this position, you will perform plan production tasks using CAD at the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager. You will be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, and final design. You can expect to work on wide variety of project types, including private site development, public utility, public roadway, and structural plans. Responsibilities include:
Importing topographic surveys and creating 3D surface models.
Exhibit creation and edits.
Prepare initial drafts of proposed improvements with input from supervisor.
Plan Production including sheet set-up.
Performing plan mark-up corrections.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in a civil engineering-related field.
7+ years of experience in site design and drafting.
CAD software experience required; experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred.
Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
