A highly respected, family-centric law firm in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis is seeking a polite, reliable, committed, client-centric professional to join the firm as a co-manager of the reception area. The Law Firm Receptionist will wear multiple hats! You will be counted on to perform a variety of daily, ongoing, and monthly logistical and operational tasks. The objective is to ensure a welcoming, friendly, clean, and enticing reception area is offered and maintained; and that the clients visiting have an impactful experience. The Law Firm Receptionist role is an exceptional opportunity for the Office Support professional intrigued by the legal industry and helping others.

salary: $38,000 - $42,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Co-manage the front desk reception area of a highly respected, well-known law firm in Downtown Minneapolis

  • Prepare and maintain the reception area daily (Manage TV programming, prepare coffee, oversee reading materials, and tidy the area)

  • Greet and interact with partners, attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries of the law firm

  • Manage and oversee the conference rooms' scheduling

  • Set up and manage all Zoom/Teams meetings along with AV in the conference rooms

  • Answer phones in a timely, polite, and professional manner

  • Assist caller or manage phone calls by routing to the correct firm contact

  • Document advertising phone calls

  • Interact with Marketing Director

  • Monitor email box and incoming faxes

  • Route incoming information to the proper internal team member

  • Add guests to the security portal and ensure the firm provides the proper reception and greeting by preparing for their visit

  • Oversee incoming deliveries and outgoing mail

  • Monitor and manage the administrative filing system

  • Assist with holiday parties, decorating, catering, and holiday cards

  • Special projects as assigned by the Firm's Sr. Administrator

  • Typical work week is 37.5 hours (7:30am to 3:30pm; anything over 37.5 hours is paid at time and a half)
